Mar 05,  · Now after 8 hours the update app seems to be stuck at 99%. The app windows looks as follows: There's no CPU, Network, or Disk load on the system by the Windows 10 Update Assistant process. However, the app window is not frozen - the displayed Minimize button is working, hiding the window to the system tray.

Jul 30,  · I have been running the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant for over hours and it is stuck at 99% at AM EDT. I am afraid that I will miss out in getting the free upgrade. My internet connection is up. The Upgrade Assistant shows, "Getting your upgrade ready. Installing Windows Please wait.".
