Dec 11,  · Some says there is no need for CAL's on Server Foundation , and I can support remote desktop, others say I need to purchase Remote Desktop CAL's regardless of what version of Server I am using. Please advise. That's not conflicting. That's two things saying the same thing. Not needing a Server CAL and still needed an RDS CAL is what that says.
