Have you checked in, around, under and over your furniture for a disc? You should also acquire Service Pack 2. If you get squared away, you might consider blocking all MS updates. I only use it very occasionally. It is clearly so long ago since I bought it, and I don't have discs, only the product key. I tried to find the jnstall files as you suggest but I reckon MS wiped them in an update - grrr!
